Our Story
Oxford Eye Centre opened in March 2019 with a mission to provide the highest quality eye services to the people of South East Brisbane, young and old. In partnership with local GPs and optometrists, our ophthalmology team provide the full suite of eye services for local residents, from newborn to residential aged care support. One of our ophthalmologists staffs the practice each day for both routine and urgent assessment.
All appointments and enquiries are received via 3899 2965 and require a GP or optometry referral.

Accessing Our Services:
To ensure a streamlined experience and to make the most of Medicare rebates for relevant services and assessments during your specialist consultation, we kindly request that all patients present a valid referral from either a GP or Optometrist at the time of their appointment. Our specialist team meticulously evaluates these referrals, enabling us to prioritize urgent cases and facilitate prompt appointments when necessary.
Private Health Funds and Surgery Options:
At Oxford Eye Centre, we offer the convenience of surgery performed at several well-regarded locations across Brisbane, including Eyetech Spring Hill, Eyetech Mt Gravatt, Brisbane Day Surgery as well as select major public and private hospitals.
Our team of doctors has established agreements with nearly all health funds for surgeries conducted in a hospital or day surgery setting. The cost of your procedure will naturally depend on your individual level of cover and policy particulars. During your consultation with our specialist, we encourage you to openly discuss these details. This ensures you receive precise and tailored information about the financial aspects of your care.
Parking Convenience:
To provide you with added convenience, we offer complimentary street parking for all patients and their caregivers. Additionally, there's a designated drop-off zone and accessible parking right at the building's entrance. For optimal ease, we suggest patients consider utilizing the drop-off option whenever feasible. This way, you can enjoy a seamless and hassle-free arrival at the Oxford Eye Centre.
